About: Gabbar Is Back is a Hindi action-drama film directed
by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion
Pictures. Featuring Akshay Kumar in the title role, the film is a remake
of the 2002 Tamil film Ramanaa, directed by A. R. Murugadoss, which was
later remade in Telugu as Tāgūr in 2003 and in Kannada as Vishnu Sēna
in 2005.
REVIEW:
This movie is a great one the best part about this movie is
that you can watch it with familt, no rubbish contents are shown in this
movie. This movie is based on Professor Aditya (Akshay Kumar). The
movie starts with the scene where the police gets the information that
10 tehsildars have been kidnapped, later they show that they have
returned except the most corrupt tehsildar who is hanged. The Police
Dept. receives a mysterious CD from the man called Gabbar who explains
that his mission is to finish corruption. There is one character worth
concern, he is named Sadhuram (Sunil Grover) in the movie, you might be
knowing him for his popular role as Gutthi. He is confident about
himself that he can find Gabbar out but everytime he tries to tell his
superiors about it he ends up being a topic of fun for them. We get to
see a night scene where the Diva of the movie Shruti Hassan appears and
gets her part of the scene. We get to see the past story of Prof. Aditya
and also the reason behind Gabbar's birth. Movie has a part where
Aditya takes Shruti to Patil Hospital where Gabbar sees the corruption
going on there, when the leave the Hospital a poor woman mourns her
deceased husband in the civil hospital nearby. Aditya tells her he'll
get her medical insurance. He checks in her husband as a patient to
Patil Hospital. The hospital tries to swindle money out of Aditya by
pretending to treat the dead man, making Aditya pay for tests and
medicines. Aditya then shows them the death certificate, which proves
they knowingly admitted a dead man. The young owner of the hospital is
furious when Aditya releases the video of the hospital's corruption to
the media. Later, CBI officer Pahwa (Jaideep Ahlawat) taking charge is
mystified by the case Sadhuram finds this as a golden opportunity and
tells the CBI Officer his findings and Pahwa gets impressed and supports
Sadhuram and work with him. They arrest National University students.
Lay third degree on them but still they don't get any information from
them. In the ending part of the movie Gabbar decides to take his Revenge
upon Digvijay Patil (Suman Talwar) the owner of Patil Hospital and the
man responsible for the death of Aditya's family. It was a series of
great plans and Gabbar manages to kill Digvijay, we get to see a fight
scene here too. Gabbar then hands himself over to the police and asks
them to release the students, the court makes the Death Sentence on
Gabbar. While being taken to the execution centre there are huge public
protests and enraged students block his jail van. Officer Pahwa requests
him to speak to the students and he does, telling them to channel their
anger against corruption and be the change society needs. As Gabbar is
taken to be hanged, Shruti breaks down but he leaves, smiling, asking
the hangman, Ab tera kya hoga, Kaalia - the famous dialogue of the film
Sholay.
